    • Hi guys, the Nationals have kicked off last weekend for 2,000+ shooters and I have been lucky to shoot FITASC with great squad mates. We were not lucky that the wind was pushing the targets away on 10 out of 12 pegs but Bill McGuire and Matthieu Delmas were able to pull a good performance. Later in the week, Zach Kiembaum posted an incredible 99, starting with 24/25 on layout 4. He has a 4 target lead so far.

    • Hi guys, it’s been a complicated weekend for me. After driving from SoCal to the North of Nevada, I was not able to get a proper focus throughout the whole competition. After shooting 92ex100 on the first day, I only shot 87ex100 on the second day on more challenging targets. Only Nathan Green was able to shoot over 90 and won the State Shoot. Congratulations to him, constantly good shooting over the weekend and fully deserved. However I was able to spend some quality time with my beloved ones.

Not really what I was aiming at, there is still a lot of work. Congratulations to Kevin (HOA), Braxton (RU), Gebben and Bill (tied M1) for their great scores.

    • Hi guys. These past two days have just been unbelievable… After shooting the 10th highest score (102/120) in the PSCA open qualifier round yesterday, I had to go thru the last chance bracket to access to the top 16 finals since I was not a PSCA pro yet. After a first tough match against one of our Laporte Pro Shooters Tyler Encinas, I managed to do the job against Richard Patty and made it to the top 16 finals the day after. It is such an achievement and so much pride to shoot with the World’s very bests.

This second day happened to be even crazier. My first match was against one of the topest and nicest shooters in the industry and friend: Cory Kruse. I managed to win and got into a quarter final match against another of our Laporte Pro Shooters Braxton Oliver who had been shooting really well lately. I was able to pull another win and moved to the semi-finals against the sweetest and most respected shooter in the industry but also the hottest shot in 2016 and a very good friend: Mister Bill McGuire. We had been training together in the afternoon and he had really nicely taken very good care of my gun and cleaned it perfectly so I would feel really confident in my best tool. And I guess today was my day and I managed to win against this great champion and accessed to the finals.

Tom Seay has been shooting lights out since the beginning of the year and I knew it was going to be a very tough final match. He had won his matches of the day against the last 3 American World FITASC Champions. Unluckily for me, Tom was still on fire in this final. I didn’t shoot it that well, but I wouldn’t have gotten close to what he shot even if I had shot lights out too. Tom, you deserve this win. You were unbeatable tonight. Congrats!

Imbattable, impressionnant, bravo champion !

Having started to shoot only 3 years ago, I couldn’t imagine being able to shoot at the level I’ve shot this last 2 days without the great support of my wife Cat, kids and family, my employer and sponsor Laporte Group, my other amazing sponsors: Krieghoff for the amazing tool they are providing me with, Krieghoff International for those exceptional new sporting barrels that brought my shooting into another dimension, Riffaut for some great shells (only in France though), Shoot Off glasses for a better vision, Shurley Brothers for my soon to be amazing custom stock, my favorite Weshoot shooting network and my coach Gebben Miles who has been behind me during all those finals. Thank you so much to all of you guys.

And last but not least: this last result fully secures my PSCA Pro Shooter spot for 2018! But for now, let’s head back to France for a few days and shoot the World Compak Sporting Championship in Signes.

    • Hi guys. My first Oklahoma State Championship is now in the books. I was able to pull THE biggest accomplishment I have had in Sporting Clays so far. 3 years after stepping for the first time on a shooting ground, I have been able to shoot a 100 straight (100/100 with 100 shells) in the first half of the main event for the Oklahoma State Championship. I feel very blessed, proud and happy about this.

In the American tradition, the shooter who shoots his first 100 straight gets a surprise from his squad mates: they shoot his hat! Here is the result and why you’d rather shoot with bad shooters.

After this unbelievable first ever 100 straight on the first day – I still can’t believe it – the pressure and the excitement were pretty high since I really wanted to keep a consistent shooting level on the second day.

However, I was not able to shoot as well but still managed to shoot 96/100 today for my personal best out of 200 sporting targets: 196/200. This was not enough to reach Derrick Mein who shot 197/200 (100 + 97) and took High Over All. That feels very weird, extraordinary and definitely not real to rank among those World class shooters, US Open Champions, National Champions and World Champions and to take Runner-Up in the Oklahoma State Championship. David Radulovich showed me the way during the Main Event and took 3rd overall (195/200) after an incredible 2nd day. The difference between those top shots and normal shooters like us is that they are at that level 99% of the time. The other 1%, they let us come to that level…

Once again, none of this would have been possible without my great sponsors: Laporte (thank you for allowing me to work and live my passion at the same time), Krieghoff (the new custom made sporting barrels are just incredible – wait until I get fully used to them), Weshoot (keeping the whole shooting community posted), Riffaut (too bad my French shells I have been shooting since the very beginning can’t travel to the US), Fiocchi (it looks like I found my new sporting shells: White Rinos 32g 1oz1/8 are bad ass shells, Little Rinos would do the job for FITASC), Shoot Off (allowing me to see best in any weather conditions is a big help) and my coach Gebben Miles (what’s next? – btw, congrats for his PSCA win). Thank you so much for your support.
